The quality was better than I anticipated. My honey was very excited when he opened the package. He could not wait to put up the curtains. The colors were better than I expected..

On March 7, 2012:
I bought five panels of these beautiful blackouts, based on other reviews. After putting one on a south facing window, it was more than enough. On the two east facing windows (and blocked by a tree), two panels were more than enough. I returned two and bought coordinating sheers which worked nicely.

I have purchased several different Blackout Curtains over the years and Kingsbury Blackout Panels are the best ones yet, I just could not be happier.

The fabric is thick and silky. Once I hung them up they look good and do seem to save energy. I'm happy and recommend them.

I was leary that these curtains would look cheap...but thay are amazing! They are perfect and look really nice in our home...and I am heading out to buy more for another room.

The curtains did not blackout the room. I added them to supplement my preexisting blinds but they did not make the room any darker.

The gold curtains are pretty and what you would expect for the price. The quality is decent and they are a light weight material, thus you'll need to add curtain weights at the ends of each panel. They block out most of the light, but are too shear to completely block them out like my other black out curtains, but I cannot find those anymore.

These curtains look much more expensive ... colors were great and they have a nice weight to them. Highly recommend!

I purchased a pair of drapery panels to match a pair I had purchased in the store. Once I got them home, I felt like they were not full enough and decided to add a second pair to achieve the fullness I wanted. Initially, the drapes I was looking for were not available online and I worried they had been discontinued. After a few weeks of searching online, the panels I wanted became available again and I jumped right on purchasing a pair. I now have the full look I was wanting for my living room window. The fabric, colors, print-and now fullness-are now exactly the look I was hoping for.

LOVE THESE CURTAINS! They are by far the nicest home decor item I own, and for less than most anywhere! Beautifully detailed, not cheap looking, and very elegant. More gorgeous in person than online!

On January 3, 2011:
These panels are lovely. The weight of the material is just right. Thick enough to block out light, but they don't feel heavy and suffocating. Just what I wanted.
