Love the layout of the bag, but I relized that all of my devices (phones, iPod, Camera, Bluetooth headsets) charge via USB cords. Get a small powered USB 2.0 hub such as http://www.buy.com/prod/cp-tech-cp-uh-707-usb-2-0-hi-speed-7-port-aluminum-case-hub-cp-tech-7/q/loc/101/206229863.html and plug all your USB cables into into it. Plug the hub's power supply into the AC, and you're charging, no computer needed. This way, you're only need to pack the power supply for the hub and the relatively smaller USB cord instead of the wall warts and (larger) power strip. Just double check that the hub will charge all your devices at once and in a reasonable time before heading out on a trip. My desktop hub (not the one mentioned above) does just fine, but is too large to pack well. Your mileage may vary with different brands.

I saw these in Real Simple and knew I needed to have one, actually two for traveling. One for me and one for my daughter. They are perfect and I can't wait to go again so I can use it. All my extra cords are already there waiting.

I needed something to organize all of my electronics. This is perfect, fits camera, mi-fi card, mp3, phone and all the chargers in one place. Only thing I would change is some type of closure on inside pockets at top.

We purchased this before going on a trip where we were staying in multiple hotels. It made organizing and charging our ipods, cameras, and phones so much easier. We were able to keep all our chargers in one place and just plug one thing in to the wall. Because of the pockets, we were also able to store extra SD cards for the cameras as well as batteries. It was our electronic central command station! It is a little bigger than I anticipated but is worth it.

This is simply one of the greatest gadgets of our time. If you travel at all then this is a must have for your traveling needs. This case keeps my cell phone, blue tooth, travel mouse, Nintendo DS and Ipod in one handy dandy traveling case. It also allows you to charge all these devices at once while only taking up one electrical outlet. How cool is that? Trust me when I say this is one gift either for yourself or others that will be an instant hit.

I ordered this to see if it would work for myself & my work group most of whom travel 40% of the time. I truly do think the quality of this product is first rate. If you have large power adapter plugs get the larger power strip & you can plug EVERYTHING in. What I plan on changing/adding (& STRONGLY recommend the company change/adopt): 1) Open bottoms of pockets & add strong velcro, so cords can come out the bottom & plug into power strip. This will allow user to leave most adapters/chargers in pockets while using them & eliminate the messy cords coming out of the top (plus helps hold stuff in pockets) 2) Add some kind of closure to the top of all pockets so that when I unwittingly unzip it the wrong way things do not fall out of the pockets.

I could not figure out which power strip to get, the company sells 2 different ones. I was planning on buying one for myself and another for my brother for christmas( I saw it in Gizmodo). So I ordered 2 black ones and 1 of each of the two power strips, I figured I would keep the one I liked. SO here is the deal... The flat power strip(white one) is lighter and cheaper. It tucks neatly along the spine. However because transformer plugs take up so much room on a power strip, although it has 5 outlets, it can only hold 3 devices. Which is fine for me as I travel with my camera, Ipod ,and video camera. The black one, they call the mighty eight is better if you really have a lot of stuff you travel with and charge. It can charge up to 6 things at once, so its perfect for him- I wish the company explained that all on their site, but it worked out in the end- and I love the item.

Thank you so much for this. I have left numerous chargers in hotel rooms across the country. I have tried several methods to avoid it-tying ribbon on the cords, etc, but no luck. This is a great idea.

I am a big fan of Stephanie. If you have not read her, you must. I bought this product more for family travel. I have 2 kids (teenagers) with both cell phones and ipods, i have my cell phone which of course uses a different charger than my husbands. This is a GREAT travel item for families,even couples traveling. A bit bulky in my opinion for single travel. I took it on a business trip and found that it was too big. So if you can design a smaller one for individual travel it would be great. I guess it you were a real gear/techie it would work, however I dont want you to get the wrong idea- its great for what I bought it for, let me know if a single comes out.

As listed in the item's description, this product does not include a surge protector. However, both models are designed to hold the TigerDirect surge protector linked to on our site in the middle mesh pocket with room for the cord to slip through the right entryway for storage in the back pocket. Additionally, the grey model has been redesigned to include two elastic strips on the spine of the product which will allow a 10" power strip to fit snuggly. We realize this design might require more explaination, so we will be posting new images illustrating this design on our site for your convenience. The idea was great, so I ordered 2 as presents for business travelers. I didn't read carefully enough and believed the surge strip was included; My bad. Upon arrival (very fast shipping), my mistake became apparent.
Now comes the problem of finding a strip that both fits and is lightweight enough to keep this a good travel item.

I returned to the web site and clicked the spot that said 'customizable". This took me to a spot that said "surge protector available here". That leads to the site of another vendor completely , and though it advertises being an 8 outlet strip, it further says it fits up to 5 power adaptors. It's shape is bulky and won't fit the storage case neatly.

I'll likely be returning the cases, but if you find the right strip, this will work well for car travelers, families, or those who can pack more bulk.
