On February 15, 2011:
Our pump started making a very loud noise due to a worn/cracked diaphram that allowed the arm to travel far enough to hit the plastic casing. We thought we'd try this as a cheap fix compared to buying a new pump and it fixed it like new. I got two of them as they're hard to find and don't know if they'll be around in another 8-10 years when this one wears out. Original valve block appeared to have some vacuume grease on it so we put a tiny bit on the replacement though it didn't say to do this in the directions.

On September 3, 2010:
Refurbishing the Rena 400 requires 2 kits. The kits were easy to install. The pump now functions as new. A lot less expensive than purchasing a replacement pump.

On June 10, 2010:
The Rena pump is the quietest pump on the market and is very easy to replace wearable parts.

On May 12, 2010:
I have two Rena Air pumps 300 and 200. It is by far the best air pump out there. Powerful and very quiet.

Since I've replaced this air repair kit the noise has been gone. Also, I don't need to spend 10x the amount of money to get the new one. Well worth it!
