Coralife Luft Pump High-Pressure Aquarium Air Pump 7.0 P.S.I. Aquarium Air Pumps at Linens 'n Things

On April 2, 2013:
I've tried numerous pumps and none of them will run the tubes for the undergravel filter. I read many reviews stating how much noise this pump makes. Well let me tell you the only noise I hear is the bubbling from the filter tubes. This pump is running 4 uplift tubes and an airstone. I may purchase another one and run the pump on two tubes instead of the four. This is a great pump. Powerful, pretty quiet and works great.

On January 8, 2013:
If you are looking for a powerful air pump this is it. A little loud when turned up passed half way, but even at half way I run two deep water air stones with power to spare. Would highly recommend.

The guy that left the bad post doesn't  know anything about this pump, it was just his stupid attitude.

These are very nice pumps that unlike much of the competition, can go up to 7 PSI and can be regulated. They are pretty much out of stock in most places. It is an ideal pump to feed a pressurized ozone reactor which needs around 5 psi. I got it from www.petmountain.com and I am very pleased with the final price and the fast delivery.

If I could describe this air pump in one word, it would be "JUNK". This pump does not perform as stated. It doesn't put out even enough to satisfy one air stone, much less multiple ones. I have 4 stones in my aquarium and it can't put out enough for 1. I have a cheap, probably $10 Aquaculture air pump from Wal Mart that is 7 years old that puts out more air than the Coralife Luft Pump. Needless to say, I will be returning this product. You are better off buying a couple of cheap pumps. Also, the only time this pump is quiet is when the rheostat is turned all the way down and then it only makes one bubble every couple of seconds. Trust me, save your money.
