Penn Plax Dark Castle Aquarium Decor Aquarium Buildings & Ruins Ornaments at Linens 'n Things

On May 9, 2013:
Washed inside and out with warm water in the shower, then let air dry. Did not cloud fresh water aquarium. My fish just love it. They can go through the whole inside, and through the bottom cut outs too. My Black Kuli Loachs go through the little gate on top by the bridge even. The castle itself is even more stunning inside the aquarium, it looks extremely beautiful, more than the picture gives it credit for. I did use fish line and attached it to a flat top hollow log decoration, to make it even taller for my 27 gal. hexagon aquarium, and it looks even better now as I wanted it taller in the tank even. Put another item in front of log decoration so don't see the flat top log and put tall plants to sides and back of castle for looks. And it looks so nice. Pet Mountain packed it in two boxes, and used bubble wrap too so it arrived in perfect condition. A+++ item and delivery. Thank you! It is exactly what I wanted and arrived in excellent condition. Very Happy :)

On April 16, 2013:
We have a 30 gallon tank and it fills it nicely. Our rainbow shark is now the king of the castle and lets the other fish know it. It is a darker color and our overhead light brightens it well. It is hollow so that the fish can swim up through it if they want.

On January 26, 2013:
The castle is VERY dark, we can hardly see it in our 90 gallon tank. The height is wrong. The height is 14 not 15.

Beautiful castle! I was actually tempted to put it on a shelf to display as a work of art, but it was just too perfect for my fish tank. Very well made. Pet Mountain priced it right, packed it carefully, and shipped it quickly.

Well, the picture shows the castle in grey/earth tones but when I received it, there is a lot of blue in it. I love the design of it though so I will keep it.

My daughter and I have had our eye on the two pieces that make up the complete castle structure for well over a year. We have a 125 gallon fancy goldfish tank with very large and beautiful ornate goldfish ~ Orandas, Lionheads and Ranchus. When I found the "set" here at a price MUCH better than anywhere else, I finally caved and purchased it. Sure, the individual halves are not identical in color, but once in the tank and a light algae film covers them (like will occur in all tanks to some degree), it is NOT a distraction at all! This is a lovely set and if are looking for a beautiful castle design for your tank, look no further. I will add it is VERY large and in most tanks it will probably fill it up, but in mine, it sits off to one side giving my long finned goldfish friends plenty of swimming space. If your fish are large, they will not be able to swim into the structures, but it makes for a great hiding place for my plecos! WELL WORTH the purchase!

I bought both Section A and section B for the same tank, Bad idea! Section A is a lot darker, and it looks like it has been in the tank a while. The pictures on here are not accurate.. They are still very nice, and this site has the best deal out there. But I would not buy them together to go in the same tank..

The Super Magical castle is fantastic. I had looked everywhere for something different and unique. This castle more than does that. The size is great. I have it in a 55 gal. freshwater tank. I don't think it would do well in a smaller tank. I have one large pleco that moved right in. The fine details are superb. I have never seen anything like this in any aquarium store. I only hope that Penn Plax buyers keep their eyes peeled for other unique items. Was well worth the $43.00. I bought unit B.
