Despite its cutting edge technology, Fluval G is one of the easiest filters you will ever see. Start-up is simplicity itself thanks to the one button self priming technology. Once running, maintenance is cleaner and easier than ever before. With the important biological media nestled safely in large capacity media baskets, the pre-filter and chemical cartridges remain easily accesible thanks to Fluval G's quick release system. The cartridges can be quickly removed without opening the body of the filter and rinsed or replaced as necessary.

Hydrotech Performance Monitoring:
With Fluval G's Hydrotech Performance Monitor, you are able to monitor many water parameters in real time. Water temperature, flow rate and conductivity are all easily accessible and can be viewed in graph format to monitor the aquariums performance over time.
Minimum and maximum values can be set which, when exceeded, will trigger a visual alarm on the filter screen to alert you to problems.
The Hydrotech Monitor also includes a maintenance schedule you can customise to your own requirements....so you'll never forget when that media change is due again.
