Marineland Rite-Size Bonded Filter Pre-Cut Pads are specially designed to prolong the life and filter media by reducing the accumulation of waste and dirt particles while the pad's porous, open-cell construction promotes water flow...without impairing overall filter performance. Each pad is slightly oversized to fit snugly in your filter.

FOR BEST RESULTS, insert the section (blue side up) with a layer of pure activated carbon between them as shown on the packaging.
