This is a GREAT deal for the money. For my canister filter pads are usually $10 for 2. With the cut to fit, I get 4 pads out of it for like $4, that's 5x less! I only wish they sold them in larger sizes. I use my canister filter for turtles so it takes a beating and needs a LOT of particle waste removing sections in it. I combined this filter with the carbon filter pad and the ammonia removing filter pad along with normal chemical and biological filter media, and so far so good. But mostly I just the money I'm saving. I don't even need to rinse the pads for re use I can simply throw them away and replace them, saving myself the work.

Works great to get small stuff out of your tanks and helps a lot to keep water clear. I just wish it lasted longer and you could get them in a bigger size.

Aqua-Pure are the best cut-to-fit filters I have ever used.

On November 4, 2009:
It works better than those bulk cut to fit pads but not as well as actual filter pads made for the filter.

The polyfiber works great!!! I always use it in my filters.
