Coralife Aqualight High Output T5 Dual Lamp Fixture Aquarium T-5 HO Light Fixtures at Linens 'n Things

On November 2, 2012:
I just recently got into the planted tank hobby and wanted to replace my under powered Aqueon T5NO. (found out later Aqueon and Coralife are the same) The fixture came with bulbs fitted for a saltwater tank, so I had purchased 2x 6700K bulbs to be used in my planted tank. At first I ran the 10K with one 6700K bulb to see how it fared in my tank. I had to change it out soon after due to algae blooms in my not so established tank. It wasn't until then that I noticed my 2nd bulb was DOA. Long story short, Petmountain was great at sending me replacement bulbs for both 6700K bulbs that failed on me. I've never been happier that they took care of me. As for the product, its been working great since. My plants are flourishing and I couldn't be happier with the price too. Its clean brushed look and great output makes this a must have for a beginner, beginning/supplementing a planted tank.

I really liked the way this Coralife light fixture looked. It is very thin and sleek. After assembling the two legs, which was simple, the light sat on top of my 65 gallon brackish puffer tank. The 10K and Actinic T5s are nice and bright. Gave my tank a blueish tint, which looked really nice too. As usual, lowest prices around. And when they have shipping specials, they get me to buy something every time!! hahaha...

On August 31, 2010:
I upgraded my standard fluorescent fixture because I want a planted tank. The fixture came with a 10,000k bulb and a blue actinic bulb. I switched out the blue bulb for a 6700k Coralife T5HO bulb and I am in love with my tank. This light makes a huge difference in the viewing of my tank and the few plants that I have. My amazon sword has started to sprout new leaves and my anacharis is taking off. The light is very bright. For some, the yellow of the 6700k may not please your eye, but I love it in conjunction with the 10000k lamp. I love how the feet rest securely on the side of the tank and the fixture seems very sturdy. So far I have no complaints.

On June 7, 2010:
This is a pretty great light for the price. I got it about a month ago and my coral has started growning pretty fast. I would get another one for my tank if i had the money right now, have 2 of them going on my tank! they also look good on top of my tank
