If you want a clean looking pond with clear water a UV light is a must. A filter blanket helps catch the dead algae, they are tiny. Pet mountain does not show the connecting end of the bulb, this would be helpful in determining if the bulb would work in my application. They have good price on the bulbs. I paid $100 + for a bulb for my Savio unit.

On July 12, 2011:
The sleeve is the correct one for my Pond Master Clarifier however it won't seal. Pet Mountain was GREAT regarding the return of this product.

On August 3, 2010:
The UV Clarifier is amazing. Cleared by pond up completely. Wouldn't run the pond without it.

On March 29, 2007:
have used this UV system for 3 years now. Works great - we change the bulb once a year. Works like a charm.
