Our new Mango Tree Collection is a true example of the green utilization of resources. Mango groves in Thailand are constantly recycled with trees reaching the end of their fruit producing life cycle in 10-15 years. At that point, the trees are harvested for their wood and new trees are planted. That wood byproduct is the raw material for our producer at Chiang Mai in northwest Thailand. The mango wood is hand turned by artisans and dried in kilns fueled by mango wood shavings. The process results in a responsible utilization of wood secondary to the fruit production. Like all Byer Birding products, the mango tree homes are thoughtfully configured with dimensions and features that are truly good for the birds.

The Clipper Bird Home from Byer is part of the beautifully handcrafted Mango Tree Collection. The Clipper is sculpted from the harvested trunks of the Mango tree. The homes feature a high-quality polyurethane multi-coat finish to ensure longevity in the elements.
