Dogs love them but they splinter

My dogs love these bones BUT they splinter quite a bit. So much so that I won't be buying them again. I am sure to be in the room when they are eating these bones just to be safe. I usually take them away about halfway through. They certainly do love them. They are quite large. Not for small dogs.
