This comb was much larger than anticipated... and so was the spacing of the teeth. My cat has very soft, fine medium length fur, and while this one is easy to use, it does not get nearly as much fur off as a finer toothed come like flea combs or a de-shedding come. Rather disappointed... if I knew the specs of this comb in advance I probably would not have ordered as I have all the other combs (de-shedding, flea, etc) and was looking for something better and more cat sized (read: SMALLER)
