Petromalt Hairball Remedy - Fish Flavor

Petromalt Hairball Remedy Fish Flavor is an intestinal lubricant with an irresistible fish flavor. Aids in the elimination of swallowed hair and the prevention of hairballs.

Helps relieve constipation, dry cough and occasional vomiting associated with certain gastrointestinal blockages
For Cats & Kittens over 4 weeks of age

Dosage and Administration:
To eliminate - Give orally a strip of 1.25cm (1/2 inch) per 2kg (4.4 lbs) of body weight, once daily for 3-4 days.

To Prevent hairballs - Give orally a strip of 1.25cm (1/2 inch) per 2kg (4.4 lbs) of body weight, 1 to 2 times per week. Brush coat frequently.

The medication should be placed on the nose or front paws where it can be licked off. Petromalt should be given between meals. Do not mix with food or give close to mealtime. The veterinarian may give specific directions for use and the professional advice should be followed closely. Petromalt is a non-prescription (OTC) product.

How Petromalt for Cats works:
Mineral oil is included in the ingredients for its laxative properties. Glycerin is added for its moisturizing properties.

My cat LOVES this stuff. She loves it so much it's hard to remember that it should only be used sparingly. It seems like she's stopped throwing up so much since I started giving this to her...your mileage may vary, but I think it's a great product.

The PetSmart Store in my area change products for hairball controll. It is very expensive and my big cat EARL loved fish flavored Petro Malt I found it here. The price is 70% less than Pet Smart, you will be petsmart if you switch to Pet Mountain for all your pet supplies.

Sibling Rivalry - The rabbit loves it as much as the cat!

Hairballs are an even worse problem for rabbits than cats, because they cannot regurgitate them. Fortunately, rabbits like sweet things. Although no one told The Phooka that. And my cat Jazzi looked at me like I was crazy when I gave her some. But when the rabbit saw that the cat was getting some, and the cat saw that the rabbit was getting some... well, THAT was different. This is now their FAVORITE treat, and we've had no problems with hairballs since.
