On March 31, 2012:
My cat has loved malt flavored Petromalt all her life. I purchased 4 boxes this time to save on shipping, and she refuses to touch it. I tried everything! Fortunately Pet Mountain makes returning it easy. I hope the manufacturer goes back to the original recipe!!

On January 27, 2012:
They changed the product for the worse! It's now very "goopy" and sticky. It also has a larger opening that makes it difficult to get small portions out for the cat to lick, not to mention that it gets all over and between the fingers. It's like very gooey, stringy slime. My cat's normally love this stuff, but one of them refuses to eat it. I hope this review gets forward to the manufacturers!

I recenly purchased five tubes of the Petromalt (malt flavored) product that my cats refuse to eat! At first I was shocked at their reaction...we have been using this product for several years and never had a problem before.

After comparing the ingredients of the recent purchase with the old formula I quickly found the problem! This is no longer the same product my cats use to enjoy!

Petromalt is the BEST hairball treatment I've ever used - and we've gone through many different brands. Our local Petsmart stopped carrying it (why I don't know!). Thank you Petmountain for saving my kitty some tummy troubles!

I give my 2 kitty's malt flavored petromalt everyday - they gobble it up! Petromalt helps with their digestion and helps break up the inevitable hairballs from grooming. I Love getting their Petromalt from Pet Mountain it's easy and a Great price!

I started buying petromalt "malt flavor" 6 years ago. My cat never has hair ball messes unless I run out and he misses it for maybe 5 days. He doesn't like other brands, or any flavor but malt. At morning and night I smear a little on the top of his front paws. He likes it so much he won't leave me alone until he gets it. The Pets Mart seems like they've stopped carrying it which is a disaster the cat was sick this morning. So now I'm searching online even though I don't want to pay shipping. I'm glad I found it. It really does impact his health.
