Not as good as expected

Didn't have that high of a rating to begin with, but I was hoping it would work on my dog. He did stop constantly barking, only to start one big bark followed with whining, and continues this for awhile. However, I will give it a few weeks and see if he gets the idea to stop barking so much. It does work in that when he barks, he knows to wait awhile inbetween doing it again.

I bought this for my Black Lab, Snoopy. When I have friends come over all he does is bark, bark, bark and jump on them. So I decided to buy this collar. The day it arrived I put it on him and had some friends over. He barked, barked, barked.. then freaked out from the shock. And after 30 of repeatedly barking he realized, 'Hey! If I bark I'll get shocked! I think I should stop'. Please BUY!

At first it worked, It was calming her barking down. But after 3 weeks, our dog was barking up a storm, so we thought we needed to change out the battery. We did, but it still wasn't working. Waste of money!!!!
