This carrier worked out nice with my 8 lb. Yorkie, the smaller version was just too small. It is very sturdy, but lightweight. It has a nice pocket in the front that fits poop bags, treats and your keys. Oliver was really happy while in this, he only wanted to get out to wee!

I love this product. My 5lb yorkie loves it. She doesn't have to stay home now. We go for walks and bike rides and it is awesome. I would recommend this product. I give it a 10.

On April 5, 2013:
Bought this to take my wiener dog on the Harley. First time I tried it the elastic which holds the dog around the collar snapped and he was crawling up the inside of my coat at at red light. They graciously replaced it, but it doesn't close tight enough and he still escapes. Might be better off with a baby carrier.

First time I went to use it, the closure that keeps the dog in thats near the neck snapped. Dog was crawling in my jacket while trying to ride a Harley... Not good!

I love this product, have no regrets for buying, believe the price is fair and works great when you have a 2lb. pup and an older/bigger dog. Love it!

The Pet-A-Roo carrier is awesome. Now my 4 lb poodle can go everywhere with me, and I will give it to my friend that is traveling to France...so her yorkie can also have a ride....

This is the correct size for small dogs whose legs aren't stubby. I bought the smaller size based on the weight of our dog. However the length of the dogs legs is also important. This size is much better for a Chihuahua, whose legs are longer. He liked the smaller size OK but fits much better in the Medium size.
