On December 20, 2012:
Turtle Rubber Dog Toy by JW Ruffians is great! My dog loves destroying toys and so far this one has not been demolished. Also it is great for when she is being stubborn & doesn't want to give the toy back b/c the turtle head sticks out of her mouth like a handle. My favorite fetch toy so far.

On May 10, 2010:
This particular Ruffian isn't a good one if your dog is an aggressive chewer. Our Jack Russell had the squeaker out in 15-20 minutes. The bigger ones are great though;he loves the octopus and the fish!

This is the only toy of several, that my 8 wk old Mastador doesn't care to play with. Not sure if its the rubber odor or just doesn't feel right on her teeth? Looks to be made pretty durable, tough to make squeak, and kinda hard to tell its a turtle.

One of my dogs was totally uninterested in toys until I found the ruffians. I have found them to be top quality (we have three dogs, 50, 70, and 80 lbs) and these last a really long time. They love the way that they bounce erratically. I would suggest the larger ones, like the chicken or octopus, for big dogs. Highly recommended.

On December 28, 2007:
I first thought that this toy was smaller than expected. My dog definitely enjoyed the toy, but it was not very durable at all. In less than 24 hours he had pierced the rubber with his tooth and the sqeaker no longer worked. I absolutely would not recommend this for tough, powerful chewers. I think a more gentle chewer would have fun!
