I stumbled on these by accident. Silly, but I have them on the floor all of the time, so I wanted something that wasn't the usual blue. I picked these for decorator color - they are beige. But, it turns out because of the eco-friendly components, these are super absorbent like no other pee pads I've ever had. So, they don't overflow and allow messes. I love them.

On June 2, 2012:
I love using the Eco-care Training Pads for my 5 lb. indoor dog. I go through one or two per day and am happy to know they are not adding to the land-fill problem.

On July 21, 2011:
My cat Liva refuses to step into litter, apparently because she objects to the way it feels on her feet. I use the X-large Four Paws Wee-Wee pads in her litter box, which has a rim that secures the edges and keeps them from flopping over. However, Liva will not pee and poop on the same pad. That's where these eco-friendly pads come in. I place one near the box, and she poops on it -- no further training required. And less guilt about landfill waste for me.

On March 22, 2011:
My 15 year old cat has been having litter box issues for the past year. She started peeing and pooping on the bed last year which was totally unbearable. I finally figured out that she may not be able to jump off the bed due to arthritis, and added an exercise step that is about half way the height of the bed. Problem mostly solved... but then started going pee on the rug in the closet where the litter box is. Threw rug away...and then she went on the rug designed to catch stray litter under the box, another yuck, since it got on the (luckily) wood floor. So get the idea to lay out a puppy pad, and she starts using it the next day, then the next day, and today 3 times. Always in the same spot right at the entrance to the litter box. Strange but now as least my husband is happier!. If you think about expensive litter, these aren't really going to add up to much more. As the cats arthritis has got worse over time, she doesn't even cover up the feces or urine in the box, she just wants to do the business and get out. She may live a very long time now that we discovered she will use the puppy pads!! Can't compare with the rest of the brands, but it works for a 15 lb cat, with plenty of room to spare. Cat urine is usually very smelly, but when she uses this you can hardly smell it at all, another plus! Recycled materials make it better than totally new materials I think.
