On March 21, 2013:
The PediPaw arrived about 2 weeks ago. My puppy is finally accepting it now, and only when he is sleepy. He doesn't seem to mind the feeling of having the nails filed or the noise, but when he is more awake he doesn't want to stay still and he wants to bite the PediPaw - puppies will chew on anything. He'll be used to it soon. It takes more time and repetition to file nails instead of cutting them, but I think it is worth it so there is no risk of cutting too short and hurting him. Before PediPaw, I cut my old dog's nails with clippers and sometimes it hurt her. So I like this product because it doesn't risk hurting my current dog.

I have always struggled and stressed myself and my pitbull cutting her nails with nail trimmers. Then I found the Pedi-Paws trimmer and life is so much easier for my dog and I. She actually sleeps while I file her nails down. I file them every 3 weeks and this way I do not have to cut them at all. It also takes less time trimming them every 3 weeks or so as opposed to waiting 4-6 weeks to cut. Thanks Pedi-Paws for inventing this!

I thought it was neat that enclosed were instructions reminding you that your companion animal needs to be eased into trying new things - especially noisy ones. But once our Schnauzer got used to the noise & vibration from the trimmer/grinder, it's so easy! It works a lot more effectively & less stressfully than regular dog nail clippers.

My dog and my son dog fall asleep while i do their nails. Never get rid of this item, love it. Really like pedi paw.

We have a dachshund and a golden retriever and it works great. They're a little weird-ed out by it, but with patience it's so much nicer than having to try and cut their nails!

I just got a Shih Tzu puppy and know that they take a lot of maintenance. My daughter has an older brother from another litter. I plan to get one for her, so we can save a bit between grooming times. I'm sure it will work great!

My pets love this groomer. Both are relaxed and nail trimming is easy. It even works to smooth my husbands feet. It's easy to use and the sander lasts a long time.

I was amazed at such a simple product. I works relatively well with a little practice. You can't use a lot of force which is probably the typical thought of this device. Instead it works better by just barely touching the nail to the file as to not loose RPM's. I have recently begun a weekly nail regimen on my dogs nails as we have a new baby in the house. So her nails get groomed once a week until they are short enough for my satisfaction. To much at once can and will harm your dogs nails making them very tender. So a little bit each week should take care of her long nails. All in all a great product after a little practice.

I borrowed pedipaw from my sister-in-law and Jensen loved it! I love it also, no wrestling the dog. nothing but smooth sailing and being comfortable. I had to buy my own so I can use it whenever Jensen need his paws done. I recommend this to every pet owner who has a dog or cat.

Unfortunately this item fails to deliver enough power to get the job done in one day. It barely abrades the nail before it stops. This means it takes forever to get the job done. I honestly cannot recommend it. And, although the sanding disc is wide, only a small portion of it sits in the window where the nail fits. This means you waste over 60% of the disc by not being able to use it.

On April 24, 2010:
I've recommended PediPaws to everyone. My dog FINALLY doesn't mind having her nails trimmed. It's fast and easy. I've used the sander six times now and it is still like new.

My dogs hated getting their nails trimmed. With the Pedipaws nail trimmer they dont mind getting their nails groomed. So much easier and faster than with the traditional nail clippers. Thank you for a great deal and fast shipping!
