don't buy the sheet set. It pills within a few washings.

The duvet cover is not the same color as the computer shows, it is more of a pale yellow. The skirt was actually a darker shade but not a deal breaker.

On March 4, 2011:
The "execution" of the sham was perfect. The sham applique matched the bedspread exactly and the zipper was so cleverly hidden in the seam it was impossible to detect when closed. But I think there was a design problem. Tthere is no "edging" on the sham so it looks just like a pillow case; nothing to distinguish it from an ordinary case except the applique.

On March 2, 2011:
I chose this duvet cover because I love the foliage design and the "wrinkle" design going across the bedspread. It's really gorgeous and I am pleased with it. One thing I noticed, however, is that it has a slightly more yellow hue in real life than in the pictures. I don't mind it though, it still looks really pretty and it will still go with just about any color. I took my own pictures and they end up looking more beige too. So be aware of that. Also the opening to the duvet is hidden buttons instead of a zipper. It looks nice, but I've found that the buttons come undone more often than I'd like. Other than that I'm really happy with it.

I didn't think this little pillow would make much of a difference to the overall look of the bed, but I'm really glad I bought it. The little stripe accent ties it in perfectly with the rest of the set, giving it just that little bit extra. It's nice material, and the pillow inside is plump. I think it's a really cute addition to the bed set.

The skirt is hard to see in the pictures so I was curious to see it on our bed, especially since our bed is extra tall (so it shows a lot more of the skirt). I think the skirt is nice. The pattern around the hem is just the same stripe pattern you see on some of the pillows. I like how the corners open up. Like the duvet, it has more of a yellow hue than what you see in the pictures...but still is mostly beige or sand. It looks nice.

I really love this product...haven't washed it yet so not sure how it will look afterward, but the color and quality was just what I was hoping for and compares with what I reviewed online. My comforter is a little on the thinner side so there is a little wiggle room but it still looks great. Simplicity and elegance at it's best. Highly recommend this product.
