This product works just as well (or better!) than others costing twice as much. My cat loves it, the resevoir holds plenty of water, the pump is quiet - this is well worth the money. I was skeptical at the cost initially, having owned one of the more expensive models/brands in the past, but decided to try it anyway- glad I did!!! Buy this one, save some $$$, and buy your cat some treats or a new bed with the money you save!

On January 3, 2013:
I and my cats love the new water fountain. It's a little too quiet..but they are using it. I have one cat who just loves to hear water running. We thought that he would be laying around the fountain. At least we were not running the faucet for him.

The fountain is nice and big and works great. The price was about $24.00 cheaper than I found it in stores.

On June 3, 2011:
Functions flawlessly. Runs quietly. Good size reservoir. I had this product before, and used it for 10 years without troubles. The only reason I replaced it is because I cracked the shell in a move. The website is great for showing how to get the pump to keep functioning, even if it gets clogged, which happens from time to time.

On January 26, 2011:
I got two. I have a lot of cats of my own plus I foster and keep a lot more cats. I've tried a lot of things for water. This keeps the water really cold and my cats drink out of it more than any of my other ways I do water for them. I'm about to get rid of all else but them.
