Drinkwell 360 The Original Pet Fountain Electric Dog Waterers at Linens 'n Things

I love love love the Pet Fountain! Not only did my OCD pay off by finding that your store offered the very best price, but the product itself is JUST what I was needing. A list of the what has made me totally happy with my purchase. 1. It's super quiet. 2. There are several different shaped " tops" that create different ways for water to fall out into the basin. (Bored cats be gone!) 3. Awesome size! Days can go by without refilling it! 4. The entire thing is really solid. It's not cheap thin plastic that requires one to keep their fingers crossed as to how long it may hold up. Bottom line: I am not in the least bit rich. I needed a water fountain that would be reliable, not an eye sore in my kitchen, make constant noise, and above all else give my cats a source of drinking water. The cats drink from it, it's quiet, and as icing on the cake, I paid far less than if I had broke down and gotten one at my local pet store. I couldn't be happier.

The youngest member of our animal family LOVES drinking out of the sink. I tried another water dish (waterfall type) and the flow was too slow that our kitten didn't really care for it- the sink was still better. So I returned it and found this Drinkwell one. It is perfect. There are different attachments for 2 or more fountains. Since our dog and adult cat were hesitant, we went for 2 fountains so they could drink out of the "still" side. It's so nice to have flowing water for them now and more than the previous water dish!! And the sound is like a soothing fountain in our house!

On September 29, 2012:
It took my dog a while to 'warm' up to the fountain but he seems to like it. You can make the flow less by changing out the spouts. Good water fountain.

Before I got the fountain I had to compete with my cats for time at the kitchen faucet. They took to the fountain immediately. It has been running for almost a week with no problems -- flow is good, operation is quiet, set up was very easy. I have already recommended this to a few cat lovers I know.

The fountain is a very good buy. My cat and dog will NOT leave it alone, they just drink and drink. It's a quiet machine when full and if you want the fountain sound, the spouts with the lower amount of exits make a difference. My only complaint is that the tower that holds the spouts where the water trickles onto does develop a slight film very quickly. You have to wipe it off every so often or it looks nasty. Other than that, it's a wonderful product that will grab the attention of your animals. My ferret loves it too!

I am the satisfied owner of the original Drinkwell Pet fountain, which my two cats enjoy immensely. I'd had it for years, and the motor was beginning to get noisy as the magnetic propeller wore against the motor cylinder. It was not painful to clean but did take a good five minutes, I had dark hard water stains I couldn't get off, and I didn't have the extra reservoir so it needed constant refilling. So this Christmas I treated the cats to the new 360. I read the instructions like a good little fountain-owner and began assembly. It seemed pretty straight-forward, until I had it full of water and started noticing water rivulets trickling down the neck of the cone that were not coming from the fountain nozzles up top. When it says make sure those parts are tightly assembled, it means it. Despite my initial failure to put the thing together properly it didn't leak on the floor, and since that one boo-boo I've not had any assembly problems since. Having had it a month now I can tell you that the dishwasher is the place to wash this thing, very easily, in the top shelf. The motor appears to be the same or similar to the original fountain, so I expect in six years it'll be kaput like the old one. The capacity is perfect for my two cats - it only needs to be topped off once every four or five days, so it gets topped off once, then it gets cleaned and refilled. Very easy to clean. One of my cats was initially afraid of it despite her experience with the original - took her two days to warm up to it. Otherwise, it works exactly like you would think - it provides cats with water. You can tone down the flow sufficiently to keep it from splattering outside the fountain bowl completely. The footprint was a bit larger than I was expecting but overall I'm pretty happy with it as an upgrade and I believe that it was worth the $$$. The kitties love it and it keeps them out of the toilets and sinks!
