ClearChoice Pond Biofilter

Maintain a healthy and clear pond with TetraPond Clearchoice Biofilters. Ornamental fish can overload a pond ecosystem with ammonia and other pollutants. The ClearChoice external pond filter biofiltration removes these contaminants and ammonia using its advanced Trickle Flow and Bio Ring technologies. Venturi inlet aerates water and thus enhances bio-activity.

Mechanical pre-filter sponges-remove suspended debris to improve water clarity. Bio Ring media provide massive surface areas for beneficial aerobic bacteria to adhere to and multiply. Aerobic bacteria eat the ammonia toxins created by fish waste and decomposing plant materials. TetraPond internal spray systems and Trickle Flow technology disperses pond water slowly and evenly through the Bio Rings ensuring that there is sufficient oxygen to provide optimal biofiltration conditions.

Should have done this years ago!

Wonderful pond filter -- very reasonable price! I probably spent 4 times the amount buying filters from a hardware store and should have just found this one years ago. We have a 250 gallon backyard Koi pond and this cleared the water completely in just days -- hightly reccommend!

This filter works well and does its job with little effort. I have a pond that is currently over stocked and I needed to get things under control. This filter took care of the problem in just a few days. Although I have had to clean the pads 4 times in 3 weeks. This was not unexpected and for the amount of fish I have its not bad.
