These aren't even good temporary homes. Bettas are jumpers. They will jump out of this little prison cell sooner or later. Oh and the ammonia will quickly build up so if it is in the bowl for a day or longer, I would recommend doing frequent water changes so the fish can stay healthy.

I hope that people who are purchasing these are only using them for less than a day or for a non-living creature. It makes me sad to think we even sell such "tanks" for a living creature to live in rest of it's doomed life.
