Jaques' Hampton mallet was the first of the square mallets, developed by the Company to make 'through the hoop' shots easier to play due to the narrower diameter of the mallet. Made from top quality Rockwood for the head and the best hickory for the handle, finished with a Takair grip for greater control and accuracy.

Mallet ends are scored with grooved faces to help give 'stop' or 'follow through' to the ball
