This is a very good mattress pad. Just the right amount of cushion. I'm a side sleeper with bursitis in my hips. This mattress pad provides the most comfortable sleep I've had in a very long time.

My husb & I were miserable b'cause we had bought a beautiful bed & thought we'd chosen the perfect matress to go with it, but by the time the rtn period ended, we were left with a pillow top matress, that caused a lot of sleepless nights & terrible body aches. We were very skeptical about this matress topper, but trusted the reviews & are so thankful to the other customers who took the time to write one! WE LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT. ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER! We haven't slept & awoken the next morning feeling this GREAT in years! We would have paid more money for this product, as it is worth far more than the price we paid @ Annas Linen's! So far, it's held it's shape & we have NO complaints! Would definitely recommend to anyone else stuck w/an unsupportive, pillow top. Don't be fooled by the softness, because it's the support that this topper provides that's important!!!! Hope this helps others who buy products based on review's!

The foam mattress pad so far does keep its shape. I'll find out in a 2 months how it keeps its shape in place. The thickness is what I love most. I do not feel the hardness in the mattress so far. Very well made pad

On October 8, 2011:
I needed something to soften my firm mattress and this did the trick. My hips no longer ache. It was worth the money; I got what I paid for.
