I ordered the taupe, it looks like the color pictured in the gold swatch. Bummed out that I have to send them back. They were a little to shiny for me also, had some metallic type threading through it that gave it some sheen.
On January 13, 2012:
I just got mine today. I ordered 3 valances and 2 panels as I have a huge picture window. I will be ordering tie backs and 2 sheer panals to add to this set.... it's lovely and I like the way I can create with them. Good price... Love the free shipping. It says right on the valance "HAND WASH". who ever put them in the washing machine does not know how to read LOL And of course they are going to come wrinkled. That's what the steaming iron is for ladies.... work it! ;) Thanks so much!
On January 10, 2012:
Bought these to help to stage our house for sale. Very wrinkled so I ran them through a gentle rinse in my washer. After cool dryer had to iron forever so get the folds out. If I wasn't selling my house I would have taken them all out.

I THINK THEY ARE NICE
On January 1, 2012:
LOVED IT! PERFECT FOR LIVING ROOM OR MASTER BED. I HUNG THE BLACK IN MASTER BEDROOM ALTERNATING THE SWAG WITH BLACK N WHITE....PHENOMENAL!
On November 10, 2011:
My husband and I have just remodeled our master bedroom. We looked around for curtains we liked and time after time we fell in love with panels that BUSTED our budget! Like many people these days have loads more style than $. I found the Annabella family on the Anna's website and although, at first, I was a little turned off by the styling in the photo, I zoomed in on the fabric on the panels and got very excited. The fabric looked like some panels we'd seen at three times the price! We have three windows in this room, one of them gets direct sunlight all day. We ordered a couple of interlined, light blocking panels for this window and regular panels for the two other windows. We were so happy that the fabric and color were all a perfect match. Also the panels are all sewn very straight and all hang at the same length. Just before checkout I looked for a coupon code and got a discount! I'm so happy with my window treatments! Anna's is my new secret for decorating on the cheap!!!
On August 27, 2011:
I got the plum panels and they look very nice. Yes they were wrinkled, but I ironed them and I did need to use a water spray bottle. But every wrinkle came right up! They are smooth and wrinkle free and look fantastic!
On August 6, 2011:
This item looks great, very elegant. and looks as if if I spent a lot of money on it.
On June 12, 2011:
I ordered 10 of the Annabella Faux Silk Waterfall Valances in Copper. 9 came perfect but the 10th had 2 missing fringes. They were shipped very quickly and matched the color online exactly...a bright coppery orange that works great in our kitchen bay window. They just needed a quick warm iron and were ready to hang.
On April 16, 2011:
These panels really cam wrinkled.. after trying to iron them I gave up.. so i washed them and then put in the dryer.. as they are polyester I thought they would then come out wrinkle free. NOT SO! I had to hang them wrinkled and with the fold lines till there.. because they were going to be "tied back" it worked out ok.. as you cannot see the wrinkles. If you are going to hang them straight down, you have a problem.
On March 17, 2011:
I love the curtains, but I have the rest of the Annabella bedroom set and the brown is not quite the same as it is in the comforter and pillows. The curtains have more of a gold sheen. I put these in my bathroom though (I have the mineral in my bedroom), and they look great. I am pleased with them.
On March 15, 2011:
The panels are pretty enough, in an overtop screams they are faux silk way. Rather then be understated and look like a nice faux silk, these go a bit overboard with a weird sheen and sort of mottled color that does not match any other chocolate color in any linen I have. Not enough to return them but enough to irk me. They are a good thickness and I like the double stitched top that adds some height. Overall I achieved the look I wanted, but I could have more closely matched the color and texture I wanted with something cheaper. They are ok.
On February 14, 2011:
Got the Taupe. Was looking for the Ivory, which was not even a choice online, but I ended up hanging the Taupe WITH the Ivory panels I already had. Good product for the price.
On January 26, 2011:
Loved the curtains!! They matched perfectly with my comforter set I bought elsewhere. For the price even better!! Thx!
On December 21, 2010:
I bought my first set of panels in the store for the fall season. They looked pretty and got a lot of compliments. I then went and got christmas panels and valances (scarlet) from the store. I loved thier faux silk multi print for the spring and I got a good deal online afer thanksgiving. If one selects a right color and size they can make the house look very pretty. I wish their valances were little more wider. I got for my daughter a 8 pc comforter set for christmas; it gives a rich look and is gorgeous! I have not washed the panels yet and I do not how they will be after wash.

I have been in my home for 10 years now and I thought that it was time for an upgrade these were WONDERFUL! and My friends just love the look. I am really satisfied with my purchase.
On July 17, 2010:
I recently remodeled my home and replaced my old drapes with Annabella Faux silk panels and valances in pearl color. They look beautiful and are real value for money. I bought two panels instead of one for each side of the window to make the drapes fuller (they are not wide enough for my liking). Also my son did a fantastic job by making his own one piece rod , one for the panels, one for the valances and one for the sheers. ( my window is a trapezoid shape). This way there are no gaps left between pieces. I get lots of compliments all the time.
On July 16, 2010:
I purchased the Scarlet panel in the 84" length for a single window with one side draped back - it is gorgeous!!! I paid $9.99 for this at the store on sale!!! The next time this goes on sale I am going to purchase two more for a larger window!!
On June 24, 2010:
I needed elegant, affordable drapes for the master bedroom in a rich burgundy color. I found these panels at my local Anna's Linens store, but they only carried them in lengths up to 84". I looked online and was so happy to find the 95" panels available. They look far more expensive than what I paid for them! The only downside is that they are not lined, but for the price I certainly wouldn't expect them to be.
On June 1, 2010:
We bought these panels years ago and they still look great! They wash with ease. We recently moved into a new house and was able to still use them, though I had to buy another pair for a third window. The color is "taupe" but looks more like antique gold; still a good 'neutral' for our decor (shades of blues, greens, tan & ivory). Our home is a mix of high end and "affordable" decor. With white sheers behind these curtains, the windows look high end too!
On May 29, 2010:
These panels are absolutely beautiful. I purchased 6 panels from my local anna's linens. they are in my bedroom and beautifully compliments my $300 bedding. You would think they are worth twice what i paid for. Wonderful selection of colors, the feel of the material is rich..... highly recommended!
On May 7, 2010:
The drapes look expensive and the fabric is nice. I couldn't get the wrinkles from the package out of them, though. I started to iron them but was getting nowhere. I washed them on gentle and hung them up damp. They still have the squares from the package! I've had them up two weeks and expect the wrinkles will eventually fade.
On April 21, 2010:
It's difficult to find a 95" tall curtain panel in the right style and color, however this one fit the bill. The color was just what I was expecting, however, the sample I viewed online doesn't reflect the rich, warm sheen of the panel. This item is much more than I expected. A great item considering its price!
On February 19, 2010:
These curtain panels are amazing! I shopped around to every similar store, and the exact same panels were 3 times the price everywhere else. I couldn't believe it. Not only is the price fantastic, but the quality is really nice. They hang beautifully and look great!
On February 18, 2010:
The mineral is a more gray blue then the blue that goes with the comforter. But I like them so much I buying them to go in the living room.
On February 4, 2010:
The panel arrived in quick time... Love these panels.... I love the longer length 95" panel.... I have them hanging as dividers between my kitchen and den and as a divider in my hallway and formal dining area. I will recommend these curtains, they are beautiful!
On January 23, 2010:
These are beautiful and as good a quality as I expected. They drape very well and have made a remarkable presentation for my double windows in my dinning room. The valance's make them all the more beautiful. Thanks for a great product. Diane
On January 23, 2010:
These panels are very beautiful. I ordered the taupe for my master bedroom--I had 9 windows to cover and needed a 95" panel. I love them and am extremely happy with my purchase. The fabric is so nice, and they look much more expensive than the price--a great bargain!
On January 19, 2010:
I purchased two double pairs of these panels in gold 84" length along with eight pairs of waterfall valences for my living room for the holidays and they're awesome. with the waterfall design of the valence and the satin fabric after adding my sheers, i was really impressed how beautiful the colors blended with my furniture, the transformation of the room was just unbelieveable after these annabellas were hung and the comment was nonstop, just wish i had bought sufficient valences for a fuller look. must purchase two more valence for that perfect look at each window. i would recommend these for any room. i just love them
On December 24, 2009:
Received these curtains in great time. Took a cool iron as instructed to get the lines out before hanging the drapes. These are so pretty hanging as a divider curtain between my kitchen and den... I have had so many compliments that now my daughter wants the same panels for her living room!
On December 5, 2009:
Described as "taupe" the color (and texture) is much more a metallic gold. Not at all what I wanted. I had to return them and what an unwanted hassle and expense, esp at this time of year.
On November 21, 2009:
These are very pretty curtains, but the valances do fall apart when put in the dryer- even on the lowest delicate setting.
On November 2, 2009:
I love this store! ALways a pleasant shopping experience!
On October 31, 2009:
The curtain panels look beautiful with the toppers I made for them. I looked for a long time for black panels and was glad to finally find them.
On October 6, 2009:
THESE CURTAINS LOOKS GREAT THEY HAVE A BEAUTIFUL BRONZE SHEEN I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE FOR THE COST!
On August 18, 2009:
I love the curtains i bought from your store i need to buy more, but unfortunately I can not buy on line sine I live in Australia.
On May 26, 2009:
I purchased these for my formal dining room and formal living room. My problem was that they only came in 95" length and I needed 108' for my formal living room. I solved this problem by removing the header and hem adding a header on the top and a turned under hem at the bottom. It worked out great. I used chocolate for the panels and i sewed two taupe panels together and made a swag to drape over the top. They hang very well and they look very expensive. I then went on to use the gold ones in my guest room and I made chocolate accent scarves for each panel. I am now considering using them in my family room but again I have 120" windows in there. My thought is to buy the 95" and add a contrasting graduated stripe at the bottom by using another panel and a contrasting panel. Again it will require sewing but if you are handy you can do a lot with these great panels. It is less expensive than buying fabric. I get compliments all of the time.
On February 19, 2009:
I purchased these in chocolate. I love them. They hang well , and I use a (lingire bag large) for washing and have had no problem. I do air dry my curtians.I am very pleased and going to buy much more form Annas
On January 8, 2009:
I love these drapes. I love them so much that I purchased 2 panels in gold, 6 gold, 4 scarlet and 3 black valances. I have Annabella's in every room in my house and they look like they belong. A friend of mine saw how rich and beautiful they look and he purchased 12 gold valances for his place of business.
On December 11, 2008:
We just got an Anna's by our house, I had never heard of them b4. Since then I have begun to redecorate my bedroom. I bought an amazing king size set in taupe and gold stripe and got these curtains in taupe to go with the set. They match perfectly and look so rich and expensive when they are hung up. Even my husband, who normally doesn't notice decorations commented on how nice they look and asked me "how much did you spend on those, they look expensive?"
On November 13, 2008:
Nov. 11, 2008 I went in Anna's in the south delkab mall and fell in love with the Annabella curtains in chocolate. The staff there was really nice and the store manager awesome with helping me picking out mypanels. They need more people like the staff at south delkab mall in other Anna's Linens. I loved my panels going to get more in the future for the rest of my house. Thanks South Delkab Anna's

Chose color Scarlet, retained color after washing. They drape well. Very attractive.
On July 4, 2008:
I purchased these valances and they are beautiful, but when I put them in the dryer on low heat, exactly as directed, to remove the wrinkles from the packaging, they fell apart. The tassels all came undone and the beads fell off. If you have to have them you'll need to have them dry cleaned - they are NOT machine washable and dryable no matter what the instructions say.
On January 25, 2008:
These are very nice drapes. I purchased two panels Moss color in 63 inch length. The top has two different options; the higher more narrow rod opening for normal gathering and beneath it, a second wider opening to create a ruffled top. I chose to use the smaller rod opening. Be sure to use a low setting (polyester) when ironing them. The drapes have a nice "silk"look. I highly recommend this item.
On July 5, 2007:
what first drew my attention to these curtains were the subtle stripes/textured look that keeps the color from being completely solid and plain. i love it. i really like the chocolate, scarlet, and moss, but my favorite ended up being the ink color-- i have 4 panels total in 2 different windows.
at first i was not too excited about the top portion of the curtains (the area that hangs on the rod). in the internet picture, the valance covers it. the curtains are not tabbed; once in the store, i noticed they scrunch up and have about a 2 inch flap of material that hangs scrunched into the air. but i hung them upside down, so that 2 inch flap is gone. i love them.
