I was under the impression this product was a combination of natural bedding & wood shavings. The bag I rec'd was 95% shavings & 5% natural bedding. I can buy 8 cubic ft bags of shavings for alot less money. But I love the Carefresh Natural product and highly recommend it.

For the price, it looks like this will last some time, we usually clean our hamsters cage once a week. We take the habitat completely apart, throw away the old bedding material, wash it and replenish with new bedding material.

I expected a lot more of the bedding then the wood shavings. Although that is the downside, it works great. A little dust but you really can never get the best thing! And since it does not have a lot of the bedding I bought some of the regular bedding and just mixed it in. Great product otherwise!!
