On June 16, 2012:
I bought the tubing so I could insert a UV Clarifier between the filter and the pump. I was ultimately successful but getting the UV Clarifier lined up with the pump and the filter so all three items would rest aligned properly under water was a nightmare. This tubing needs to be sold with Male/Female screw-in adapters so that you do not have to rely on the barbed tubing connection for alignment of the pump, UV Clarifier, and filter.

On December 27, 2011:
Garbage! Do not purchase. After only 5 months all of it got stiff and cracked. This happened to all of it, regardless of weather it was buried, under water or under the porch! Junk do not buy!

On December 17, 2011:
I was disappointed when I use this tubing. It is hard to install to the water pump. The tubing break right away when I twist it. Beckett tubing is definitely better than Tetra Pond.

Product is a great value compared to others out here on the market.

This worked out well for me -- It's in a pond, so I would not know or care if it leaks at the tubing connection, which I worried about because of the spiral metal. But, it seems very good.
