Beckett Submersible Pond Pump Pond Water Garden Pumps at Linens 'n Things

On June 21, 2012:
We have bought Beckett pumps several times. [NO more!] For the $$$ one would assume they would last a few days longer than their warranty. They seem to have an uncanny ability to sense just when they can go gunny-sack and not be covered. Also, none of the parts are replaceable. On the plus side, the one that quit while under warranty was replaced promptly by the company.

On April 14, 2012:
I have purchased the G535 series as well as John from Landisville, in the previous review. I agree with him. I have purchased several of these pumps and they have lasted only 1 year. With it costing around 100.00. it should last longer than that. I am very dissatified with their products.

On November 24, 2010:
I have used a Beckett small pond filter in my tiny backyard fish pond for 5 or 6 years. It runs continuously, and did a great job. The pump finally gave out, so I looked for the exact replacement. It works great year around, even keeping the goldfish alive in our Chicago-area winters. I especially like the long cord.

On July 28, 2010:
I have purchased the G535 pumps for years. The last two I purchased didn't last for more than year and a half. They used to be good pumps, but they must have cheapened the product to the point where they are not dependable much past the warranty.
