Le Creuset Le Creuset French Onion Soup Bowl Serving Bowls at Linens 'n Things

On April 25, 2012:
Purchased two of these bowls and one broke after only a few uses and careful handwashing. The handle came off where attached to the bowl. I received fairly unhelpful responses from both Linens N Things customer service and Le Creuset customer service. After reading other reviews on different websites , it looks to be a fairly common issue with this design. For the cost, it should have lasted years, not 3 uses.

These are good quality, in keeping with the Le Creuset brand. The size is just right. Of course you can use them for any kind of soup. I prefer them over the run of the mill brown french onion soup bowls and they are oven safe. Plus, they are versatile enough to be used for lots of other things, like individual casseroles, cobblers, or serving a variety of desserts in.
