I have 8 hedgehogs and they love their wheels. A lot of people believe you can use saucer wheels, they actually aren't good!! I feel the wheels are amazing for hedgehogs & rats. They are amazing. They make my babies happy :) Especially when hedgehogs walk/run a lot at night.

On October 6, 2012:
I just got my wheel yesterday...hung it on the side of my rats cage to find out its lopsided and rubs against the cage.. my rats can't even run on it!! It spins very hard anyways, the plastic is very cheesy..I would not recommend to this to anyone...Spend a little more cash to get something better quality...

The wheel is stiff, spins hard and the wheel is a bit lopsided. I managed to get the wheel off the base and added some Vasoline and it helped a bit but still not that great of quality.

On February 5, 2011:
We got the large wheel for our rats. They love it, but we needed to attach it to the wire cage and the attachment hardware (plastic ware) is too flimsy. I have rigged it with rubber bands, but it still sags and rattles when in use. Probably not as much of a problem for the smaller sizes.

Perfect for pet chinchilla.

On December 10, 2007:
This is the only wheel I have found to not make noise. All other wheels after awhile start to make some noise, not this one. It's great!
