If splicing connector cords is required, splicing needs to be completed before dimming controller or RGB controller. When splicing, the Red/Blue wire are Negative, the Black/Green wire are Positive. It is not recommended to exceed over 24ft. between the driver and the tape It is recommended to use the mounting clips or the metal channel in many wet applications because the 3M backing will not be sufficient.
