Perky Pet Gazebo Bird Feeder - 2.25 lbs Capacity Wild Bird Seed Feeders at Linens 'n Things

On June 21, 2012:
We bought this to put the food for the Finches. It is smaller than the Pagoda bird feeder we got, BUT the holes where the food came out are bigger, so most of the food just slide out on to the perching area and over flow to the ground whenever a bird land on it. So within the first hour or so half of the seed are on the ground. By the next day the feeder is empty. Maybe we have to buy bigger seeds. I noticed the other reviewers use sunflower seeds. Will try that and see.

This is a wonderful feeder. There is plenty of room for birds to sit around the bottom. It is easy to fill and very stout. Excellent construction.

On May 4, 2011:
This feeder had some features I wanted; fair amount of feed storage, catch rim to keep uneaten feed off the ground and enclosed to keep feed dry. To my disappointment, the rim is undersized to where large and medium sized birds avoid it. Only smaller birds fit comfortably. I have cut and glued the sides to increase the rim diameter. Testing will be done shortly. If problem persists, it will go into the trash.

GREAT FOR SUNFLOWER & SAFFLOWER. BIRDS LOVE IT. CARDINALS, NUTHATCH, GROSSBEAK, FINCHES CHICKADEES AND MORE. TOO SMALL FOR BLUEJAYS (A DEFINITE PLUS).

On April 27, 2010:
I have used these for 5 years. They have become discolored but are still the best sunflower feeder there is. The price is right also.
