This is a great little gate for small dogs like our shih tzu and yorkie (not for big dogs or jumpers/climbers), and it's so much easier to step over for humans than most other gates. We LOVE that part! It's a little difficult to position into the doorway--it works, but the sizing system isn't quite as flexible as other gates we've used. Once in, we leave it in place, which works for us. There's a doorway in the gate that you can open to let your dogs in and out--or you can obviously lift them over easily. We just love the fact that we don't have to "jump hurdles" with this gate!

I was delighted with my purchase of the pet safety gate from Pet Mountain. It was exactly what I wanted, and fit perfectly.

On May 23, 2010:
I bought one of these to put in the door way so my kids' room so I did not have to worry about them closing their door while we are training our puppy. It is a good gate, easy to use, low enough for my toddlers to get over as well as easy for the adults to step over. I am buying another one.

I spent much time looking for an attractive gate moderately priced. For the price, this gate was better quality than I expected.

This is the greatest pet gate. I am only 5'1 and was having a very hard time constantly walking over the regular gates sold at pet stores like Petco. This one is so easy to walk over, even when carrying laundry and what not. Very sturdy and does not put any holes in the wall!

On November 26, 2009:
It is exactly what we wanted, but it was broken. Part of the door was broken off that needed repair. A little bit of glue and tape it was fixed, and is working as it was advertised.

On September 9, 2009:
gate looks good. just the right height to step over but keep dog out of living room. only problem is the holes where the bumper screws go in are too big, so the bumpers don't really work. they just spin and spin. i solved that by putting a thick layer of teflon tape over the top bumper screws which produced some resistance and allow you to tighten to the door. if you have a level floor, the gate will stand up on it own so you don't have to use the bumpers, but of course, your dog may learn to knock it down and roam free. my chihuahua is afraid of the gate and won't push on it. overall good product, minus the bumper defect.

THESE GATES ARE THE BEST!! WE HAVE A LITTLE MALTESE AND THEY ARE JUST PERFECT FOR KEEPING HIM FROM RUNNING ALL AROUND.THE HEIGHT IS JUST PERFECT, THEY ARE VERY GOOD QUALITY, THE SMALL DOOR VERY CONVENIENT AND EASY TO OPEN, COME COMPLETELY ASSEMBLED WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE BUMPERS ON THE ENDS OF EITHER SIDE OF THE GATE WHICH TAKES ONLY SECONDS TO ATTACH, THE SLATS VERY CLOSE TOGETHER SO THE POOCH CAN'T SQUEEZE THROUGH.THESE ARE THE BEST GATES ANYWHERE!! AND JUST PERFECT FOR CONTAINING OUR POOCH!!...GREAT PRODUCT, REASONABLY PRICED, AND SHIPPING ONLY TOOK TWO DAYS OR SO... CAN'T GET BETTER THAN THAT!! PLEASURE TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!

On November 18, 2007:
I bought 2 of these gates and they are very easy to set up. My dog is well behaved and does not jump over them even though she could. Very easy to walk over and the little door is easy to open and close. It is a very convient gate:)

EASY ASSEMBLY AND STAYS IN PLACE. JUST THE RIGHT HEIGHT.
