2. What are the different types of mattress pads?

Anchor pads have a quilted top and elastic bands at each corner that attach the pad to the mattress. Fitted mattress pads are constructed like a fitted sheet with elastic corners and feature a fabric skirt that covers the sides of the mattress or Expand-a-Grip sidewalls that stretch to fit securely over any mattress depth. Wrap pads have quilting on both the top and sides. Their contoured structure ensures a snug fit around most mattresses.

3. How do I choose the right mattress pad for me?

Next, decide which features are most important to you. If you live in a warm climate, choose a 100% cotton covered pad, which will be cooler and more absorbent. High thread count cotton covers also increase the durability of the pad. Waterproof pads feature a vinyl layer, which prevents moisture from leaking through to the mattress. Foam pads provide therapeutic benefits such as increased circulation and relief of back pain.

4. How do I care for my mattress pad?

Most mattress pads can be machine washed and dried. Follow the instructions on your pad for proper cleaning. Foam pads should be hand washed with gentle detergent. Replace your mattress pad when it shows signs of wear and no longer provides the proper support.
